MCLE PROGRAM POLICY & DISCLAIMER

CoveShield Legal Support (“CoveShield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides educational programs, webinars, seminars, and training sessions intended to support legal professionals and industry participants.
Certain programs may be submitted for California Minimum Continuing Legal Education(MCLE) credit or may qualify for credit depending on the attendee’s jurisdiction and regulatory authority.
By registering for or attending any CoveShield MCLE program, you agree to this MCLE Policy.
1. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY
- All MCLE programs are provided solely for educational and informational purposes. Nothing presented in any CoveShield MCLE program constitutes: Legal advice
- Medical advice
- Expert witness opinion
- Case strategy guidance
- Professional certification
2. NO PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP
- Participation in any MCLE program does not create: Attorney-client relationships
- Expert-client relationships
- Physician-patient relationships
- Fiduciary duties
- Any other professional relationship
3. MCLE CREDIT ELIGIBILITY
- CoveShield may apply for MCLE credit approval for select programs; however:
- Credit approval is not guaranteed
- Requirements may vary by jurisdiction and accrediting body
- Attendees are responsible for confirming eligibility with their State Bar or governing authority
4. ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR CREDIT
- To qualify for MCLE credit where applicable, attendees may be required to:
- Register using accurate personal information
- Attend the full program or required minimum duration
- Participate in live sessions (for webinars)
- Complete attendance verification steps (if applicable)
- Respond to periodic participation prompts or polls
5. CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE
- Where MCLE credit is applicable:
- Certificates may be issued electronically
- Certificates are typically issued after attendance verification is completed
- Attendees are responsible for maintaining their own records for bar reporting
6. REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION
- Registration for MCLE programs may be subject to availability. CoveShield reserves the right to:
- Limit attendance
- Cancel or reschedule programs
- Modify content, speakers, or timing
7. RECORDING AND TECHNOLOGY
- MCLE programs may be conducted live or recorded. By attending, you acknowledge:
- Sessions may be recorded for educational, compliance, or quality purposes
- Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited
- Technical issues (internet failure, platform outages, etc.) may impact attendance or credit eligibility
8. SPEAKERS AND CONTENT
- Opinions expressed by speakers, panelists, or guest experts are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of CoveShield Legal Support. CoveShield does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of third-party content presented in MCLE programs.
9. DISCLOSURE OF CONFLICTS
- Where applicable, speakers may disclose:
- Financial relationships
- Professional affiliations
- Consulting relationships
- Other potential conflicts of interest
10. EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS
- All MCLE materials (including slides, recordings, and handouts) are:
- Provided for personal educational use only

- Participation in MCLE programs does not guarantee:

- CoveShield may collect and retain:
- Registration information
- Attendance duration
- Participation activity
- Certificate issuance records
- This data is used solely for:
- MCLE compliance reporting
- Program administration
- Internal recordkeeping
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoveShield is not liable for:
- Errors or omissions in educational content
- Attendance issues or technical disruptions
- Denial of MCLE credit by any jurisdiction
- Reliance on educational materials
14. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
- MCLE programs may be hosted on third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom or similar services). CoveShield is not responsible for:
- Platform outages
- Connectivity issues
- Third-party data practices
